On 12 june 2014 the International Artistic Contest Two Calls for Vajont has been presented during the press conference held by dolomiti contemporanee to launch the DC 2014 season.
The press conference, open to the public, has taken place on 12 june at 11.30 am at the new venue of casso.
Representatives of the institutions involved in the project (public administrations from Veneto and Friuli, private partners and many artistic and cultural partners) attended the press conference.
Il 12 giugno è stato avviato il Concorso Artistico Internazionale Two calls for Vajont.
La presentazione dell’iniziativa é avvenuta all’interno della Conferenza Stampa di lancio della stagione 2014 di Dolomiti Contemporanee.
La Conferenza Stampa é stata pubblica, e si é svolta il 12 giugno, alle ore 11.30, presso il Nuovo Spazio di Casso.
Vi hanno preso parte i rappresentanti degli enti coinvolti nel progetto, ovvero le amministrazioni venete e friulane, i partner privati, alcuni dei partner culturali e artistici.

The French anthropologist Marc Augé, member of the Jury of Twocalls, came to visit the Vajont area, to explore the Contest‘s project sites and to learn more about Dolomiti Contemporanee‘s activities.
He brought his reflections about the Vajont Tragedy and the meaning of a contemporary art Contest here nowadays.

It is possible, for the artists interested in the Contest, to take part in a survey of the Spazio in Casso and of the crowning of the Vajont Dam.
The guided visits of the Dam’s crowning are handled in collaboration with the Dolomiti Friulane Nature Park and with Erto and Casso’s Pro Loco*
The visits are available in the following days:
- July: every Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm, every half hour;
- August: every day, from 10 am to 5 pm, every half hour;
- September/october: on sundays visits from 10 am to 5 pm, starting every half hour (duration: 40 minutes).
