Not easy to reach. Sky, earth, rocks, valleys, rivers, trees, mountains, few hours of sun a day make this  a unique place. Inhabited by tenacious real people, with the need to go beyond the landslide of Mount Toc. Forgetting the tragedy of Vajont is not possible because in front of us, since October 9th , 1963, a “new mountain” made of 260 millions cubic meters of rock and earth, rises.

LOVED SPACE is a neon work, a “sign” that I propose for the main façade and the east side of the Nuovo Spazio di Casso. Placed thus on both sides of the building, the work will be seen since our arrival from the valley below, indicating the “spazio amato” and as an immaculate canvas or a blank page calls to other unexpected images, manifesto of new visions and future words. Affixed to the wall of this “home” traces construction lines of a new site, site of the soul and of the will to “reside” the ideas.

Casso. Non facile da raggiungere. Cielo, terra, roccia, valli, fiumi, alberi, montagne, poche ore di sole al giorno rendono questo un luogo speciale. Abitato da gente tenace, concreta, con la necessità di andare oltre la frana del monte Toc. Dimenticare la tragedia del Vajont non è possibile poiché davanti a noi, dal 9 ottobre del 1963, una “nuova montagna” fatta di 260 milioni di metri cubi di roccia e terra, si erge.

LOVED SPACE è un opera al neon, un “segno” che propongo per la facciata principale (a sud) e per il lato est del Nuovo Spazio di Casso.

Posta così sui due lati si potrà vedere sin dal nostro arrivo dalla valle sottostante, indicando lo “spazio amato” e come una tela immacolata o una pagina bianca invita ad altre inaspettate immagini, manifesto di nuove visioni e future parole.

Affissa al muro di questa “casa” traccia le linee di costruzione di un nuovo cantiere, luogo dell’anima e della volontà di “abitare” le idee.
