It is a history of traces and memories.
Until today only gray, a color that crystallizes, blocks.
Many children, so many imprints.
They will fade over time, as an imprint that disappears.

The wall is now the visual memory of what happened yesterday.
That day has left scars on the facade; scars that will change with the flowing of time and by the action of rain and wind .

With this action I want to give a new look to these signs through light and color, now missing. The intent is to create a mapping, to trace the wall, thus obtaining the imprints reminiscent of the past and preserving the real tracks.
Using neon is therefore seeking to emphasize the variety of colors that used to liven up the school.
At the end of the installation’s period the neons will retain their meaning of testimonies, without losing relevance once unhooked from the wall: the school is the territorial boundary of Casso, and the imprints will in the future go beyond.

È una storia di tracce e ricordi.
Fino ad oggi il grigio, unico colore che cristallizza, blocca.
Tanti bambini, tante impronte.
Svaniranno nel tempo, come un’impronta che si cancella.

Il muro oggi è la memoria visiva di quanto accaduto ieri.
Quel giorno ha lasciato delle cicatrici sulla facciata; cicatrici che sono oggetto di modifiche per lo scorre del tempo e per l’azione di pioggia e vento.

Con tale azione si vuole dare una nuova veste a questi segni tramite la luce e i colori che ora mancano.
L’intento è di creare una mappatura, tracciare il muro, ottenendo così le impronte memori del passato e conservandone i calchi reali.
Tramite il neon si cerca quindi di sottolineare la molteplicità di colori che animavano la scuola.
Al termine del periodo di installazione i neon manterranno il loro significato di testimonianza, senza perdere rilevanza una volta sganciati dal muro: la scuola rappresenta il limite territoriale di Casso, e le impronte potranno in futuro andare oltre.
