the nuovo spazio di casso will be open in July, from Thursday to Sunday, from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

there, visitors will find an exhibit displaying a selection of the projects showcased in the international artistic contest twocalls for vajont.

on august the 5th a new, important exhibit will be inaugurated.

massimo bray, former italian minister of culture, perfectly understood the spirit of the dolomiti contemporanee project. we would like to thank him for his support, ad we’re looking forward to see him here, in these high lands, in our new project sites soon.

angela vettese, maria centonze and marc augé, members of the jury of twocalls, were in Casso a few days ago, learning more about the context in which the Contest acts.

 

following a text with the considerations by gianluca d’incà levis, curator of dolomiti contemporanee, on the value of the contest and a call to the artists.

The French anthropologist Marc Augé, member of the Jury of Twocalls, came to visit the Vajont area, to explore the Contest‘s project sites and to learn more about Dolomiti Contemporanee‘s activities.
He brought his reflections about the Vajont Tragedy and the meaning of a contemporary art Contest here nowadays.
